A programmer who worked for the mortgage giant Federal Mortage Assocoations Nations, better known as Fannie Mae, was sentenced Monday for attempting to destroy data on the organization's more than 5,000 servers,
According to documents from the FBI and Maryland's prosecuting authorities, the 36-year-old Rajendrasinh Babubhai Makwana found guilty of computer intrusion, an act of revenge after the programmer was fired from Fannie Mae."Server Graveyard"
Makwana was fired from the organization in October 2008, and a few days later to Fannie Mae's own developers have discovered a latent virus, a so-called "server bomb" in the company's server routines.
