Bitfenix Colossus

Conclusion
There is little doubt that Bitfenix Colossus stands out, it has a very recognizable look, and not least, very big! There are probably many who like the attention you would have with this case at The Gathering in Hamar for example.

When it comes to performance, however, has not Colossus so very much to boast. The two fans at low speed is not enough to provide the hardware good working conditions, and we would either put up speed, which causes more noise, or install a fan or two extra.
As we will highlight the most positive is the robustness of the Colossus that strikes us first. It is big, heavy and feels quite solid. In addition, the quality of both plastic and metal that is used. If no appearance would be something most people, we certainly appreciate the audacity of people in Bitfenix.
The biggest drawback to the Colossus is in our opinion a little weird solutions, such as that one must first open the side door, then lift up the little hatch on top to turn on the machine. The cabinet is also very heavy, especially the side doors, and temperatures are not very good.
It is difficult to pinpoint what is wrong with Bitfenix Colossus, but there are a number of things that bother us. Many design details seem a not particularly smart. Who needs such as two-three feet of channel to hide cables in front of the cabinet? How many want to engage in strength every time you need to remove the side doors or move the cabinet? And how long is a cabinet that lights up the race with a Christmas tree cult?
There are certainly some who falls in love with Bitfenix Colossus at first glance and will ignore all errors and shortcomings, but it did not we, and therefore it is not recommended by us. We hope and believe this is not the last we hear from Bitfenix, and will pay close attention to what they find on it!
